Gravel front garden

Key Information

  • The garden is north facing and open to the elements.

  • Client Brief
    • Clear site of invasive plants, prune and shape trees and shrubs
    • Reinstate the parking bay and create a garden in which to enjoy a sundowner
    • Low maintenance gardening with year-round interest

The front garden was one of the client’s first priorities as it was out of control. It had been overrun by Hypericum perforatum (St. John’s Wort) and a random Yuka plant.

Pat loves her gardening but needed some help to regain ‘control’. Pat didn’t know exactly what it might look like, so together we worked towards a planting plan that was both interesting and manageable.

“The team’s knowledge and passion for gardens shines through, along with their enthusiasm and involvement and it continues to be a pleasure to work with Andy’s team.  The result is a beautiful, naturalistic garden to enjoy and continues to evolve year on year.”
